Brittany DiVito, MPH, FNP-BC is a family nurse practitioner as well as a Director and Assistant Professor at Arizona State University. She has been working with vulnerable populations for 15 years through work in public health, healthcare, research, and education. She earned her bachelor’s degree at ASU before earning her Master of Public Health and Master of Science in Nursing degrees at Thomas Jefferson University. In Philadelphia, she worked at Nationalities Service Center and served as the Coordinator of the Philadelphia Refugee Health Collaborative. She subsequently relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where she has continued to see refugee and immigrant patients, as well as other vulnerable populations, as a family nurse practitioner. Brittany has been engaged with the Society of Refugee Healthcare Providers as part of the Research, Evaluation, & Ethics Committee, North American Refugee Health Conference Planning Committee, and various other opportunities. Brittany continues to be passionate about the health of refugees, immigrants, and asylum seekers as well as family medicine, epidemiology, and the health and wellness of all communities.
This session will be an informal, discussion format. There will be no slides or presentation, but an opportunity for participants to ask Brittany DiVito any questions they have about collaborating with primary care providers.
