"“Know Your Rights: Seniors” workshop covers a wide variety of topics related to older adults and their rights. An overview of elder abuse will be provided, with information about how to protect yourself, understand your rights, managing your finances, and staying safe from financial scams. The Webinar will also cover basic information on important legal documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Healthcare Directives. This workshop is appropriate for anyone who wishes to gain a better understanding of these topics, including older adults, friends and family members of older adults, and individuals who work with older adults. There will be a Q&A session following the webinar. This webinar is provided in partnership with Community Legal Education Association (CLEA)."
