EAPO is pleased to host this first, in a Series of Webinars that explores the complexities of Elder Abuse issues, their impacts and barriers to prevention within diverse communities (including SE Asian, European and South American in future sessions) .

On April 28th, a panel of South Asian community leaders from across Ontario, will join EAPO to share their insights into the nature of growing up and growing older within their communities. Speakers will share their own unique experiences, challenges, barriers and identified cultural risk factors (like language, immigration status, social isolation, financial or emotional dependencies for example) which can contribute to experiences of elder abuse.
